Franchisee recruitment

Recruiting a franchisee is time-consuming, by optimizing the recruitment process, the franchisor may avoid expensive experiences.

  • Potential franchisees should initially in the process of cooperation draw up a business plan. 

  • A franchise prospectus should be prepared as a decision-making basis with, among other things: 

    • Competitor and market analysis

    • Investment plan

    • A long-term plan, such as a 3-year plan

    • Opening plan and marketing budget

    • Financing plan

    • Establishment plan

    • Overview showing company and ownership structure

  • Background check of shareholders associated with the franchisee and possibly reference check

  • Confirmation of financing by bank

  • Review of the franchise agreement together with the manual early in the process to clarify prerequisites, frameworks, requirements and terms.
